Should I keep my existing platform-to-platform syncs, or use only Syncento?
Use only Syncento. Once every platform imports its Syncento feed, remove the old direct links between platforms — leftover connections create duplicate blocks and make problems impossible to trace. The end state is simple: each platform has exactly one import (its Syncento feed) and one export (its own calendar, connected here).
Can I see or change my prices on Syncento?
No — and no iCal tool can. The iCal format carries dates, not rates. Syncento syncs availability; pricing stays managed on each platform.
How fast does a new booking spread to my other platforms?
Syncento re-checks your calendars every 15 minutes — and the moment any platform asks for its feed, Syncento re-syncs your sources first, so the answer is never stale. The real wait is the platforms' own polling: Vrbo re-imports roughly every 30 minutes, Airbnb about every 3 hours, Booking.com within a few hours.
Does Syncento make double bookings impossible?
It shrinks the risk window dramatically, but iCal syncing is pull-based and never instant — no tool can honestly promise zero. For a same-night booking race, always confirm critical dates on the platforms themselves.
Which platforms work with Syncento?
Anything that speaks iCal — which is every booking platform we know of: Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Agoda, direct-booking sites, even Google Calendar. If it can export a calendar address and import one, it syncs.
Won't a platform re-import its own bookings as blocks?
No — that's the point of the auto-created feeds. “For Airbnb” exports everything except Airbnb's own events, so Airbnb never sees its own bookings echoed back. Every platform gets its own echo-protected feed automatically.
What happens with tentative holds and pre-approvals?
They arrive marked tentative and show dashed on your calendar instead of silently becoming confirmed bookings. Each export feed has its own policy — include holds to play it safe, or exclude them so a pre-approval on one platform doesn't block your dates everywhere else.
Can people I share a calendar with see guest names?
Never. Export feeds and public pages carry dates and platform names only — a stay reads “Airbnb — Reserved”, nothing more.
How do I share a schedule with my cleaner or co-host?
Create a view: pick which properties (and tags) it covers and you get a read-only web page plus an iCal address. Your cleaner opens the link on their phone — no account, no login, revocable any time.
What are tags for?
Labeling bookings and blocks — “Deep clean”, “Maria”, “Maintenance” — and filtering views by them, so each cleaner's link shows only their work. Tags stick to the reservation through date changes and refreshes.
How do I block dates for myself?
On a property's calendar, click a start day and an end day — done. The block flows into every export feed, so all platforms close those dates. Click a block to remove it.
What if one of my connected calendars breaks?
You'll see it: the property gets a red health mark and the calendar's row shows the error, and you can turn on email alerts. Nothing is silently deleted — events already imported stay on your calendar while the feed is unreachable.
What does it cost?
Free during early access — every feature. When early access ends: $25/year for up to 5 properties, $50/year unlimited. Early users get plenty of notice and nothing is ever charged without your explicit agreement.
Does it handle several properties?
Yes — each property gets its own merged calendar and its own feeds, and the dashboard shows everything in one month or year view. Views can combine any set of properties into one share link.
What if I want to leave?
No lock-in: everything Syncento holds is standard iCal. Point your platforms back at each other (or at any other tool) and delete your account in Settings — that permanently removes your properties, calendars, feeds and views.
